My experience there was totally different! My dog came out looking TERRIBLE. I was told Tooter groomed her, and asked to talk to her. She wasn't there, and the secretary didn't know when she'd be back. I called later to talk to Tooter about it, and the secretary sounded like she was annoyed to have to answer the phone. I asked if Tooter was there and she snapped "no". That was all she said, "no". She didn't ask if she could take a message or have someone call me back. I was deciding if I should ask her to take a message and heard someone in the background yell "You're an @$$hole dog! I'm going to spank you! NOW QUIT!!!" I hung up. A few years ago that place maybe was good but it stinks now. So does my dog - she didn't even get her bath. She came home as dirty as she went in. I was charged full price and they asked me to pay cash instead of check or credit card. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Grooming with a personal down home touch

The folks who work at All Breed Grooming and Boarding have quaint sounding country names like "Tooter" and the place distinctly reminds you of the businesses you typically encounter in any small rural town. Why is this a good thing? Well, for starters, they know me by name, they know my wife by name and most importantly, the know my DOG by name. Is it possible to imagine a dog being happy and excited to know she is going to a GROOMER? I didn't think so...my experience is that pets typically regard a groomer visit the same way they regard a visit to the vet, with fear and trepidation, but to my pleasant surprise my little cocker spaniel is more than eager to come scampering in and visit "Tooter" and her work companions at All Breed. She cannot wait to get in the door! It's obvious to me that these people know and love animals more than the typical stereotype pet grooming salon, and they apparently treat each pet as if it were their own, lavishing each with a special dose of love and understanding. They know that my dog has a goofy personality and loves to play, they know her little idiosyncrasies and they talk to her in that special "good doggie" voice that tells her she is amongst friends, so what would normally be a traumatic experience away from home is actually a "day at the spa" for our little sweetie-pie. And of course they do a terrific job. When I come to pick up my dog at she's been transformed from a lovable, grungy little mutt into a sweet smelling perfectly trimmed happy dog with a special little "scarf" tied round her neck or a bow in her hair, and a tiny bag of doggie treats goes with her out the door, which she of course gobbles up on the way home as a reward. I've boarded my dog at All-Breed too...also a great experience, even though I am sure my little pup would rather have been at home with the fam. Nevertheless she was happy, healthy and none the worse for the wear during her two week stay at All Breed's boarding facility. They walked her, fed and watered her, played with her and kept her groomed and well cared for. I cannot even think of choosing a different grooming and boarding place after experiencing All Breed's brand of personal service and attention to detail, and Zowie loves them like family.
